Blood and mucous in stool!??

could be serious like a distended bowel, or just severe irritable bowel syndrome. I agree, though, if you have lots of blood in the stool, don't wait for the ultrasound. Call your doctor's after hours cover # now, or if he/she not available that way, go to the ER or a walk in clinic tonight
