About 4 months ago my girlfriend got a job at a casino. She came home one day telling me how her girlfriends at work was telling her that one of the blackjack dealers have a crush on her. She blows up on me and says he's just a friend he knows I have a boyfriend and would never do anything like that and hes a great guy and really sweet, basically makes me feel like a complete jack for saying anything. Then about another month goes by and she goes to the lake with friends and hes there but I didn't say anything.Then today he comes to her salon and gets a hair cut and then takes her to lunch! I'm trying not to be mad, I love her very much and I know if I say anything she'll flip it back on me like last time. Idk if I'm different but I don't want another guy taking my girl out anywhere...there's no doubt in my mind he still has a crush on her even though my girl is denying that and saying there just friends. I don't know what to do, Im I supposed to say something again or just stop getting so angry and get over the fact that someother guy is trying to move in on my girl and she's allowing it. He will not starve to death if you don't give him the food he wants. He'll eat when he's hungry. I think you should make him eat the Halo food, or return it if you can. When I play basketball all I have to do is to right by my defender without any moves. But since I'm playing older players and better defenders, I have to make dribble moves to get past my defender. But when I make a move, I don't gain that separation off the dribble. How do the great ball handlers (Brandon Jennings Chris Paul etc.) gain so much separation off of one move? Please help. I'm a 31 year old adult daughter of a psychriatically ill 68 year old mum. I dont have any siblings. My dad and her have a bad relationship in that she mentally abuses him, so he leaves her house at 10am every morning and does not come back until 8 or 9pm at night, he has his own place a half hours drive away. She is cared for in every practical way, financially, clothes wise, food and has her own independance and car. Her mental illnesses manifests itself in separation anxiety and a 100% lock solid idea in her head idea that my role is to give up my life and my boyfriend (who i live with for 8 years) for her, and she drives this home to me every time i meet her. She doesnt like my boyfriend and has bad mouthed him to people and i cannot bring him home to her house (where i go every 3 weeks and xmas, easter and any other special holidays..i have to be separated from my partner). She has fought and said nasty things to her family (brothers and sisters) and now they all exclude her from family events..so she has no one. She soemtimes turns up at family events and then they ring me and tell me the nasty things she said or done even though i cannot control where she goes. that has lead to me cutting those aunts and uncles out too...as they have never been a support to me only to tell me how nasty she behaves. One aunt rings me up and tells me word for word the nasty things shes said about me and to her and then tells me not to repeat it as shes doesnt want to get ate by her. This leaves me so upset. My dad says i should do more aswell, although i do all i can with her. I've spoken to her doctors and nurses and they say she is just dfficult and wil not change and she is under their care. She tries to control me and people just tell me i'm an adult and to stand up to her wickedness, but i feel shes acting out of desperation and i dont want to upset her more. Need help on stalling chrysler plymouth voyager '97 3.0 engine?

its winter time and got this minivan 3 months ago. theres no problem during the 1st 2 months but lately the panel flickers 'check engine' then while driving and stopping in an intersection, the oil light flickers the engine stalled. i have to restart and rev it up but continued to stall each time until i got home. i bought an atf and filled up the transmission fluid since i already had a change engine oil 2 months ago using 10w30 full synthetic oil. i then disconnected the battery line to reset the panel but now the engine stalls after a few minutes. i revved it up but it makes a cranking sound then engine stalls again. i had already changed battery and alternator but thats for a different reason. Whats seems to be the problem? I need this car especially during winter. any suggestions would be fully appreciated.

There is some nice description in here, especially the hearts racing. It's really good, the only thing is this sentence: "Someone smaller, yet more stunning than him stared straight forward." The beginning of the sentence is a bit strange. Instead of "yet more stunning" write something more along the lines of "attractive". And with this sentence, "Her eyes did not blink, but possibly gazed further in the distance with a glazed look.", take out 'possibly' - it's hard to tell what you mean from this word. Also, having both 'glazed' and 'gazed' in the same sentence doesn't really work that well. Apart from that, it's pretty good. =D

My dog keeps shaking and will not eat?

First of all yes he is going to the vet at 10:30am and if he gets worse they said to bring him in right away. I am just wondering if anyone had anything like this happen with their dog and if so what it was? I know it could be a bunch of different things I am just trying to get an idea to ease my nerves. This morning around 5am my husband got up and took the dogs out side then he feeds them and they come back to bed with me until I need to get up. So my husband came in the room and said Diesel would not eat (he ate fine the night before) so Diesel came back in bed with me and was shaking like he was cold so I put him under the cover and snuggled him next to me but he kept on shivering it took him a good 45mins to finally stop and fall asleep. Then i got up around 7 he was not shivering then I woke him up he jumped off the bed ran into the living room and laid down on his bed. Then after 30mins he started to shiver again. I pressed all over his stomach thinking there could be a blockage and I pressed on his spine lightly and so on with no response he just licked me. When the other dogs heard someone out side and were barking he jumped up stopped shivering ran to the door with his ears up and tail wagging. Now he is laying in his kennel and is not shaking any more but doesn't want to eat still (he did eat some treats though). I am guessing he just has an upset stomach or something but we are taking him to the vet to be sure. Does anyone else know what it could be? He is a Chihuahua mix and weighs 12lbs thanks!

Why does the world have to be so closed minded on the issue of bi/gay people? I'm just wondering... I know this isn't in the right section, I apologize but asking it in the LGBT section comes out with some pretty obvious answers... I'm not trying to be mean or anything, I just want to know why ual orientation is such a big deal? How does it affect a person's abilities and how does it make them un-human? In the end does it REALLY matter? Is it so different as the color of someone's skin? When your on a bench your going to have to hold on to something for stability and if your on the floor you can simultaneously reach up and try to touch your toes while you are lifting your legs.

You must realize that most students like you have been pushed to be in sport/clubs/student government to boost their application resume. hey guys, have been thinking about getting into reloading .45acp. I know i need bullets, powder, large pistol primers, and br. An of course several reloading manuals which I have. I'm trying to be as cost effective as possible. i will be using the Lee clic to start with as each step is done individually and its only $20 to boot. its the clic 2 identical guards riddle, one of them always lies, and the other always tells the truth, you can only ask one question to one of them, what is the question, i thought the question to ask was " would the other guard say that you are guarding the door to enlightenment? (ya the guards are guarding 2 doors either to enlightenment or eternal suffering) but that doesnt seem to make sense because if the guard you ask replies "no" then that would mean that the other guard would not say that hes guarding the right door, meaning that the other 1 is the liar because he would mis-lead you about who is guarding it. or if he replied "yes" that would mean that yes, the guard you asked is the one guarding the right door, the riddle doesnt imply that the truthful guard is guarding the right door, thats very key in asking and finding out who it is, but society gives meaning to truthfulness and lieing, like right and wrong, so we ociate the truth with being good, and in this case the other good thing would be enlightenment vs. eternal suffering, so that doesnt nessessarily mean that the truth guard is guarding the right door, but we ume that because we ociate the 2 things together, SOOO.... my questions are , what is the right question to ask AND is the truth guard guarding the door to enlightenment, i dont think anyone has ever asked that before, have they?

I really like this one Chris. I don't usually like mixed up rhyme schemes, but it seems to work perfectly here. I think it actually adds a certain discordance and feeling of change that depicts the autumn and also the bombastic trumpetty words also reflect the gustiness of autumn together with the spikey alliteration. I just wonder if the last verse line 2 does owe something to 'Wuthering Heights'. There is one line which I don't like all that much in v3 line 1 but again I am being picky this is a great poem.

My Mother always said about Reagan, "The Presidency was the greatest role he ever had as an actor". I lied Reagan. He was much better than his opposition of Carter groupies. He made some huge mistakes but always tried to fix them. He hiked taxes well over 6 times to try to get the deficits he created down. So, he never was irresponsible like Bush was the past 8 years. He was a civil leader. Unfortunately, the Reagan administration was the last civil administration this country has lived through. Anyway, you're right, he wasn't so great. Russia fell apart mostly because they were broke. The ten year war they fought against Afghanistan broke their backs and that was in large part due to President Carter allowing the CIA to train Afghan fighters how to use our weapon systems. Reagan happened to be the guy in power to benefit from this collapse. So, he just acted the part. It was just good timing. Reagan wasn't great but he was honorable.

Wow! That is the age old lament of English teachers. Kudos to you for igning them and grading them critically. I didn't teach English but I did teach AP U.S. History and we did a lot of writing. One way I managed my work load was divide the cl into three groups and had one group doing essays every week. You are still doing a lot of reading but in smaller doses. I also used a system of checks, underlines and circles for evaluation. Checks were good, relevant points, circles were spelling errors and underlines were grammatical errors, I also used x's for incorrect historical data. The symbols don't matter, what I found was that it was easier to make these quick marks as I went along than stop land make a comment. Sometimes I would comment if it was necessary but a lot of the mundane could be handled with the marks. At the end I would make overall comments like spelling errors hurt your presentation or good use of historical data or whatever. You could have the kids look at the errors and make their own corrections or perhaps this would be a time to use groups (I don't personally like using students to evaluate other students' work, most of the time they do not have the expertise or the maturity to do it correctly) However if you have noted the errors they could "team" up to correct the errors. The problem is that you would have to look at those to see if they are correct. Good Luck

My Sun Squares my Ascendant, first impressions were are not my thing. I sometimes have trouble with authority figures, which didn't do me ANY good when I was younger. I'm better now, I try really hard to be more easy going around others and not come on to strong, which might make some feel unsettled around me. I have Mercury square my Ascendant as well, I blurt out unnecessary things sometimes. I often can't explain myself well enough which leads to me getting misunderstood a lot. When I was really young I would try to say things that would make my parents happy, which wasn't good because now I'm trying to break this habit with others. Lastly I have Pluto square my MC, which means I have to learn to get along with others and not want power for my needs but to benefit others. Why did she hug me? Does she like me?

Hey, well there's this girl who seems to like me (if she does she is extremely brave). She is pretty shy (like me) and doesn't have many friends (also like me). We hadn't spoken more then a few words to eachother before she randomly hugged me. Here's how it happned: I was walking to cl like I always do with one hand in my pocket and the other holding my books. I was lost in thought (people tell me I look sad when I space out like that). Suddenly someone wrapped their arms around me from behind while flying foward. I stumbled, but regained my balance. Whoever had their arms around me squeezed me tightly with their arms, snuggled their head against my neck, and let out a big sigh. after that they let go and I turned around. I saw a girl who I recognize from a group I'm in. I asked what that was for and she said "y-you uhh... You looked like you needed a hug." then ran off before I could say anything else. About a week later I decided to take a risk (remember, I, aswell as her, are really shy) and return the hug. I saw her at the little meet-up I had with the group we're in and tried to hug her, but got to nervous and decided to just talk to her. I tapped on her sholder and smiled. I said "Hi", but she looked at the ground and said she had to go check something for the group and ran off. Lastly, I finaly got the courage to hug her. When everyone in the group was going home I ran over and hugged her and quickly let go. I told her I was repaying her for making my day. She started blushing a bit and smiled. then we left. I think she might have just thought I needed a hug, or even looked like someone else from behind. I really doubt she likes me, I'm nobody special, and there are plenty of other guys who are better then I am. Now, it isn't as likely as it sounds. I'm not sure why she'd like me, I'm just your avrage, nerdy, inexperianced, shy guy. Don't just ume that she likes me because it sorta sounds like it. Someone painted with latex over oil on the old plaster walls in my bathroom. The latex cracked and shrank. I unfortunately added more layers of latex which continued to crack. Can I resolve my wall and ceiling problem by having the walls mudded and then using primer and oil paint?

Well the only way I would say to do it is usually the razor is screwed into the plastic part of the sharpener...so unscrew that and you can use a knife sharpener or just run the sides along a large flat stone and that should do it...or just buy a new one, because it might not be worth the effort to take apart and put back together again...good luck :)

What is up with kids anymore?

It seems like so many people these days have divorced parents. I am fortunate enough not to have divorced parents, although we still have our own issues. Dad is handicapped, don't have a lot of money, siblings and I all were "blessed" with some sort of mental disorder, there's drama, etc. But we all respect and love each other. I don't understand how there's so many kids who HATE their parents just because they are divorced though. Maybe I don't understand, but if my parents were divorced when I was younger, I wouldn't hate them and cuss out my stepparents. Don't kids realize they're trying? Maybe parents need to sit down with their children and pay more attention, but I know so many people who just HATE their parents and treat them with zero respect. I know a girl who was the worst, her parents were divorced but her parents also constantly told her they loved her, sent her letters, gave her money, and she demanded these things. She cussed them out and would scream at them. I said just because you come from a broken home doesn't mean you can treat your parents that way..and she just cussed me out, too, and said you know NOTHING. And said I was stupid, etc. It hurts me to see how my generation is growing up like that. They are growing up now being more promiscuous, drinking younger, smoking younger, with more broken homes, but they are disrespecting their family so much. And treating their peers with such disrespect as well. If you're not cool or don't fit in, like me, they kick you to the curb. Also, I'm sure parents are partly to blame. They don't watch their children. They don't instill family values. I also know a handful of people who have divorced parents and they all get along and have turned out okay. and these are the families who have done the right things. I just want some opinions on this matter. I feel like parents have gotten "lazy" but why are kids so disrespectful to their families and stepparents?

Thoughts on an issue...?

My fiance and I just had a baby 2 months ago. We are thinking about moving...possibly out of state. If not, definitely out of this city. My parents live in the next town over about 20 minutes away. Everytime I talk to my mom about moving (I've told her about it before when we considered it a while ago) she actually gets MAD at me, and makes me feel guilty about leaving, not only because all her other kids moved away, but because she won't see her granddaughter as often. She only has 2 other grandchildren and they live in Boston. (We are in Ca.) Then tells me it's my life and do whatever I want (not in a nice way!) But when I look at the big picture, I have MY OWN family now and shouldn't feel guilty about leaving...right? And I shouldn't stay somewhere I don't want to be..for her sake.
