Is there a word to describe Christian religious leaders?

A nice word, I mean. It’s just that I’ve written ‘priests’ to indicate Christian leaders before but then I’ve been told off for not realizing that priests are only in Catholicism. But then there are pastors, preachers, ministers, bishops, acolytes…I’ve referred to them all as being the ‘purveyors of doctrine’ (or ‘purveyors of the perpetual deception’) but that sounds kind of intellectually arrogant. Is there some generic term with only a couple of syllables that can be used to indicate all Christian religious leaders?
