My mom is never there for me?

she always falls asleep as soon as i come in the room and never hears anything i have to say. I am so lonely and sad and i dont want to develop relationshiops with anyone because i feel like it will take away my freedom. And plus that it seems like people are weary of becoming friends with me and also i am picky about who i befriend because of the lifestules they lead and i dont have many options for friends besides the people i work with and while im there all i want to do is leave because i never have my real personality on my face. Help.
