Are those who oppose Health Insurance for all, Anti-Christian?

The Christian philosophy calls for health care for all. The Vatican has openly stated this. Why is it that some Christians which polls have shown most were Evangelical or Born Agains are against the health Insurance reform sponsored by the Democrats. Is the anti-Government fear stronger than these peoples spirituality?
