Wisdom teeth coming in, how long does eruption pain last?

i got mine pulled on friday and honestly its not that bad. i was awake then asleep the next then woke up with a numb mouth. but i needed to get them pulled they were affecting my jaw and i couldn't open it all they way...im 16 and im glad i got them out before they grew roots cause i heard that's even worse to get them out when they have roots. and nobody can make you get them out only you or if the dentist says you have to
