What does the abbreviation LLC stand for after the companies name that I am filing for employment with?

I have been looking for a job while my mom is at work and filling out some on-line applications for example from Career builders .com and the Schwan Co. is hiring and after there company name there is abbreviation LLC and GL, I figured GL stood for general labor but what does LLC stand for?
